B-Spot Burgers---Cleveland Beer Week 2010 Victory Tapping Review

I went to B-Spot  in Woodmere this evening for the Cleveland Beer Week event which was the Victory Pursuit Pale Ale Tapping (A Cask Conditioned Pale Ale).  They also had 2 other Victory beers on draft along with many other great brews on draft all selected by the bartender Sam.   Cleveland beer week should be proud of this event.

Food---I kept it very simple tonight and had the YO Burger.  This Burger comes topped with fried salami, cappicola,  hot peppers, provolone, and shasha hot sauce.  I asked that it be cooked to a medium temperature and it was cooked perfectly.  The combination of the cappicola and the hot peppers goes amazingly well with the provolone and the shasha hot sauce.   The bun's texture along with everything else that the burger had to offer really paired well together! If you like spicy, this burger would be your delight because of how well all of the flavors complimented each other.
Brews---The B-Spot always has a great variety on tap.  Tonight for Cleveland Beer Week of Steve German of Victory was there for the tapping of the Pursuit Pale Ale.   Steve German of Victory,  David Andes and Mike Misseri of Heidelberg Distributing really were a pleasure to talk to about the beers and the brewing process.  B-Spot really does a great job having quality brews on tap and the beers of the evening, which were Victory Baltic Thunder, Victory Pursuit of Pale Ale, Goose Island Minx, Southern Tier Creme Brulee, and the Boulder Mojo IPA will be further explained and pictures will be included on the CraftBeer Reviews Page.
Overall---Tonight my service was all at the bar.  Sam, the bartender, did a great job serving our food and beers, but he also took time out of his evening to have good beer and food conversations with us.   The food came out really quickly despite the fact that they restaurant was pretty full.  This type of service really speaks to what the B-Spot really is aimed at and I was very happy to see that.  Sam  also gave us an amazing sample of an Apple Pie, Bacon, Vanilla Bean, Bourbon flavored Milkshake which was simply out of this world and was a perfect ending to our great evening at the B-Spot!!!

Everyone raves about that milkshake - and my husband has been dying to try it!
I'm a veggie so we haven't made it out to the B-Spot. I might have to get takeout for him....
