Scott Groth, founder of The Chubby Cook, has a wonderful idea cooking up in Beachwood.
His Plan:
- Serve high quality grab and go breakfast and lunches during the day.
- Offer hands on cooking classes at night in his commercial kitchen.
- Offer a variety of catering services.
Last night The Chubby Cook had an open house to give the public an idea of what they might find when they walk in the doors. They also took the time to let us walk throughout the venue to get a feel for what the kitchen experience is going to be like when they get the cooking classes up and running. The food samples we had last night were all fresh and delicious. I especially loved the stuffed tomato poppers, the meat and cheese tray, the cheesecake bites, and the home made take on lemon ice cream! I took plenty of pictures to give you an idea of what to expect!
Here are some shots of what the kitchen looks like. It was very large with plenty of work space for classes.
And last, but not least, here are some of the friendly faces to expect to see when you walk in the door!

I am still dreaming about the BLT poppers! Great times last night
P.S. Why does it look like there are two pieces of cheesecake missing?? ;)
Bummed I couldn't make it last night! Everything looks delicious and I can't wait to check it out!
