Rusty Bucket Corner Tavern in Solon

Food--- My beer battered fish was excellent.  It was fresh fish (not frozen) and the beer batter was hand made.   The piece of fish was huge in terms of portion size and the batter was very light.  It really let the fish flavor shine!   The fries were a disappointment.  They lacked seasoning and overall taste.  My lady's burger was good, but not mind-blowing in terms of flavor.  She got a standard cheese burger with lettuce, tomato and sharp cheddar cheese.   The meat lacked seasoning and overall flavor. 4/5

Drinks---A quality selection of regular beer, microbrews and wine.  I choose the Great Lakes Oktoberfest which is always a treat.  It has an excellent fall flavor.  If you are thinking it has a pumpkin taste it does not.  It is more along the lines of a traditional German Marzen.  They also had several Rouge beers as well to choose from.   My lady had a Mojito which she really thought was good, a little too minty for my taste.  We both love Mojitos.  4.5/5

Overall---Most everything about this place impressed me. When you walk in the appearance of the tavern is great. TV's everywhere, lots of bar seats and overall a great tavern look. Service and atmosphere were very good.  Dinner for two and a few drinks will run you about $30-40. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for somewhere new to eat on the east side of Cleveland!  4.25/5
